We are on a role here at Psychic4u ! Today we are please to include our second interview with a psychic and are glad that Melissa Becelar was able to answer a few questions.
Before I begin, I would like to say that I used to have a pet cat named Juniper. He was 18 and died last year in the spring time. Unfortunately he got a small cancerous tumor on his tongue and it got so bad to the point where he could not really eat any food correctly so it was not right to let him suffer anymore. He was a really good cat though.
I will never forget that last walk he took out the front door. I must have let him out that front door 100,000 times. He would always go through the same routine. He would walk to the end of the stone covered path and then stop and pause at the driveway. Then he had to decide if he wanted to walk into the woods towards the right or stay left and go into the garden and backyard. This time he chose the garden and the backyard. I watched him walk towards the garden and then he stopped and turned to the right only briefly. He was looking towards the area in the garden that I had dug out for his burial place. It was almost as if he knew what was going to happen later on that day. Till this day that image of him walking out the door and on that path will forever be etched in my mind. It is like two roads diverged in the wood and he took the one less traveled by. That was the choice he made every day.
I can honestly say that he really was my best friend. And I think many people feel that way about their pets as well. Pets are a unique gift and have the same magic as any other life form on this great earth. They embody everything the universe had when it was first being created from a tiny spec of dust and so they are our brothers and sisters as well as good friends.
And now, onto our interview with Mellissa…
1. I know you’re an animal communicator what else do you do?
I am an actress, model, producer, super hero and business owner. I own two companies The Network Studio and The Actors Source. They help actors across the world meet with people that can hire them for film and TV. I am looking for another job if you know of any openings! Kidding…
2. If you’re an actress and business owner what made you decided to become an animal psychic? Was there anything specific or significant that happened?
I don’t really think I decided to become an animal communicator. It seems to have chosen me. I was on this radio where I was talking about my eight dogs and educating people on adopting dogs as opposed to buying them. 1 millions of dogs die each year because they are homeless. My mission is to make people aware of this, it wasn’t to read animals! The host said let’s take a few calls and read their animals. Stunned, shocked and nervous I said “OK.” I didn’t know what I was doing, but I was able to accurately read their pet, tell what they looked like and more just from a caller calling in!
Most of my time is spent doing animal rescue work and I am always trying to gain the trust of abused dogs or another creature. When you are trying to gain the trust of a being who doesn’t understand the language you speak, you need to find other ways to communicate. I always have been really connected to animals. Many of my friends are psychics and healers and they would always tell me I had gifts but I just thought it was a strong connection. In the past year or so after that show I started to really work on it. It’s a huge benefit. It’s like being able to speak another language.
3. Are you an animal communicator, animal psychic or both? What is the difference?
A pet psychic is a person who can see the animals past, potential future or the future of a situation. I use this ability when deciding if a home is fit for a dog. If I get a bad sense or see something traumatic happening I listen to myself and continue looking for a home I feel good about. I guess on occasion I have told a dog I see a juicy steak in their future. They usually love that. When I communicate with a dog they tell me what is going on, what they want and what they want their owners to know. That is actually what is funny. The animal is telling me what they want not what is best for them which gets confusing for their human partners sometimes! Also, animals tell me things about their humans. Often when an animal is acting out and behaving badly it is because their owner is having an emotional melt-down. All in all I would say both.
3. What is the strangest animal you have worked with?
I don’t find animals strange. I find their humans strange a lot of the times. Animals are instinctual, funny and just do what they want. Their people are the ones that make me laugh! If I had to pick though, I’d say a snake. It was strange, because I had to do it over the phone I can’t do them in person. They make me a little nervous, but I love them just the same as any other creature.
4. How do you communicate with animals? How does it work?
Every animal is a little different. Some show me pictures and images of what is around.
Most of them let me pick up on their feelings both emotional and physical. On occasion I will get an animal that talks like a human. I tend to feel them in my whole body and I often humanize them. I guess the actress in me takes over. Sometimes I catch my self flipping my hair back with my head when I am talking to a horse. Things like that.
5. How can my Psychic 4 U readers learn to communicate with animals? Is there an exercise your recommend?
If you get pictures of things or you think you know what your pet is feeling then listen to it. Write it down and you might see a pattern. When he looks at me like this, I feel he is in pain and so on. Then you might see he is limping or walking around less than he usually and you’ll know you picked up on something. Chances are if you have an animal you are already doing it. Just focus on their energy, close your eyes, be quiet and you will here a little voice saying "SNAUSAGES"…
6. Are there any TV shows or programs airing featuring you and animals?
I am going to be on “It’s Me or the Dog” with my 8 dogs this season. You can see me on the commercial if you watch animal planet! I also have several shows in development and I have a new column in The American Dog Magazine called "Dear Melissa" I am like a Dear Abby for Doggies.
7. Where can people learn more about who you are and what you do? Is there a website?
I own a lot of websites, but the one that is all about my animal communication is:
http://www.celebritypetcommunicator.com/
This site will update everyone on the airing of my Animal Planet episode, my interviews like this one on Psychic 4 U, my paranormal radio guest appearances and red carpet charity events that I attend! There will also be a place on my site to donate to animal charities soon. Some of the charities I work with are Animal Acres, West Coast Mastiff Rescue and Best Friends. The other websites I have are just me in bikinis wearing tons of makeup…I am sure no one wants to see those.
